Chris Correa, the former St. Louis Cardinals' scouting director, was sentenced to 46 months in prison on Monday.Correa illegally "hacked" the Houston Astros' player-personnel database and email system in 2013, using the password of a former Cardinals employee who had joined the Houston organization.Correa was fired after the news went public last summer, and he pled guilty in January to five counts of unauthorized access of a protected computer from 2013 to at least 2014 (the same year he was promoted to director of baseball development in St. Louis).
